Tab Manager Pro is a Chrome extension that helps you manage, group, save, and auto-clean your browser tabs. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the extension accesses and how it is used.
Data We Access
The extension accesses the following data to provide its features:
- Open tabs — titles, URLs, and favicons of your currently open tabs, used to display and group them in the popup.
- System memory — your device's total and available RAM, used to display the real-time RAM usage indicator.
- Extension storage — your saved sessions and settings are stored locally in your browser using
chrome.storage.local.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
- We do not send any data to external servers.
- We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising.
- We do not store your browsing history.
Local Storage Only
All data saved by Tab Manager Pro — including your saved sessions and settings — is stored exclusively on your local device using Chrome's built-in storage API. This data never leaves your browser and is not accessible to us or any third party.
Third-Party Services
The extension optionally loads favicons from
Google's favicon service (https://www.google.com/s2/favicons)
to display website icons. This request includes only the domain name of a tab
(e.g. github.com) and is subject to
Google's Privacy Policy.
No other third-party services are used.
Permissions Explained
- tabs — required to read tab titles, URLs, and favicons.
- storage — required to save sessions and settings locally.
- system.memory — required to display RAM usage.
- alarms — required to periodically check for idle tabs when auto-cleanup is enabled.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, the new version will be published here. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
